22 January San Lorenzo Valley ARES Activation
The San Lorenzo Valley ARES was activated at 2145 on Wednesday,
January 22, 1997, in response to the sudden rise of the San Lorenzo
River. SLVARES supportted the opening of St. John's Church in Felton
as an American Red Cross Shelter and the Santa Cruz Emergency
Operations Center. A total of six messages were handled during the
operation, which concluded at 2334 on January 22nd.
